The Find|Sell Handmade Project is a comprehensive guide to help those independent business owners specializing in handmade and/or small-scale goods grow their wholesale business in leaps and bounds.

In order to provide our publisher with market research in regards to the need for this extensive guide, we are creating surveys and collecting data from these same businesses regarding their goals, methods, experiences, and other information that will show that not only are there many individuals pursuing their dreams of being creatively self-employed, but that there is a viable, supportive market of consumers driving this need.

The Project is the brain-child of Kellee and Matthew Milner, owners of My Favorite Mirror. Having grown their own wholesale business from 3 accounts in 2005 to close to 90 in 2006, they have an understanding of what works, but more importantly, they understand what TOOLS would benefit anyone in their position; anyone who wants to spend their marketing dollar more wisely. Because the tool they sought did not yet exist, they decided to create this tool themselves.

As a small business owner who specializes in handmade and/or small-scale goods, your input will help us better key into your needs. Every survey you answer gets us that much closer to completing our research.

Want to help even more? We are accepting applications for a focus group (panel). Members will be asked more in-depth questions regarding their wholesale experience, so please have a few wholesale accounts under your belt before you apply. We are looking for panelists in every category at this time, but no more than 3 per category. As a bonus, panelists will be thanked in our book and will have the opportunity to be profiled in the book as well.
